Breakdown of the New Bond Film

No Time to Die

It’s been almost 13 years since Daniel Craig started to play James Bond. His first movie in the James Bond series was ‘Casino Royale’ (2006). Next year we will see the last Bond movie where Craig will play as 007. This movie, No Time to Die, is the 25th film in the James Bond series produced by EON Productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Craig’s fifth and final performance as James Bond will hit the theatres on 8th April 2020.

Rami Malek’s debut

Everyone thought Craig will be in the center of attention for this movie but after the official trailer was released everyone seemed to forget about the protagonist. It’s the antagonist of this movie who is in the spotlight for every discussion. The antagonist is played by last year’s Academic Award winner Rami Malek. After receiving critical acclaim for his roles in Bohemian Rhapsody and Mr. Robot he has taken the next challenge in his career. And by the early impression, we are sure that he will take his career to the next level.

Dr. No returns?

Arguably the most sinister rival of James Bond is Dr. Julius No. Also known as Dr. No, made his first appearance in the movie Dr. No. In 1962 Canadian actor Joseph Wiseman portrayed this evil mastermind.
Fans started to speculate that the character is re-booted in the upcoming movie. What makes this special is the fact Rami Malek is playing it. After seeing the trailer only, they are saying it may be the best Bond villain ever.

Will Bond Survive?

As it’s the last movie of Daniel Craig as James Bond it could be possible he may not survive this time around. The title also adds fuel to the fire. The introduction of Nomi, Lashanna Lynch from Captain Marvel, gives legitimacy to the theory. In the trailer Nomi is seen as an MI6 agent who has taken up the ‘00’ designation, this also validates some of the rumors that the franchise has selected her as Bond’s successor.
