Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha Release Delayed Indefinitely
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a futuristic phone that shows the many avenues for Xiaomi to explore during 5G era and it is the first phone to bring a wrap-around display and 180.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.
About three months ago, back in September 2019 Xiaomi announced the concept of this phone. Xiaomi mentioned that only a few units of the Mi Mix Alpha would be made and was supposed to go on sale in December 2019 in limited units. It is supposed to be one of the best phones from Xiaomi.
The phone was expected to come with $2800 price tag. But it seems we have to wait more for the launch of Mi Mix Alpha as recently Xiaomi confirmed about the delay of the phone and didn’t provide any possible launch date either.

Mi Mix Alpha is a revolutionary product with the very new bazel-lens display. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha contains Snapdragon 855+ SoC and has 12 GB RAM with 512 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It sports a 7.92-inch flexible OLED display with a 2,088×2,250 pixel resolution.
The device doesn’t have any physical buttons on sides. By replying on haptic feedback and pressure sensitivity it emulates them, while a round power button seems to sit at the top left of the phone. Mi Mix Alpha has a 4050 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
Camera Configuration of Mi Mix Alpha :
About the camera, Mi Mix Alpha have a triple camera setup that includes the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX camera sensor. It’s a 1-1.33 inch sensor with 1.6 microns pixel size. The output of 108MP camera images are of 12032×9024 in resolution and come in at about 40 MB in size.
Two more lenses join the primary shooter. The 12 MP camera telephoto capable of 2x optical zoom and the 20 MP wide-angle camera allowing for macro photography. There is no camera on the front because due to the wrap around screen you just have to flip the phone around to take a selfie.
